Join us for a week of magical moving miniatures! We’ll be guiding you through the process of realising a perfectly small Long Eared Bat, flapping wings and all. Discover the secrets of Penny’s unique skill and techniques with mechanism forming and utilising Papier-mâché, from concept, development and creation to practice in moulding, sculpting and carving. This course provides everything you need to know for making bats, birds, butterflies and even Fairies!

We will be hosting at our dear Haarlem Artspace in the quaint market-town of Wirksworth, tucked into the Derbyshire hills. This chocolate-box idyl features splendid walks and views, an array of fantastic shops, restaurants and pubs, along with a host of friendly locals, many of whom we call friends.

All materials and equipment will be provided by us, as well as a large spread for lunch each day (courtesy of Zest Catering). We have further course details, hospitality and activity suggestions, menus, schedules and much more for the confirmed guests - so get your place while there's room!

• Daily Timetable
  Course Teaching, 9:30am - 5pm (Lunch Included)
  Evening working: guests may have access to workshops until 9pm provided health and safety guidelines are observed
